CuredDisease.com is a history-of-medicine game and reference. It shows how diseases were beaten: germs found, vaccines licensed, diseases eliminated from a country and, twice, eradicated from the world. It also shows the ones that are not beaten yet.

How the facts are checked

Every milestone carries a quote copied word for word from a public page of the CDC, the World Health Organization, the National Cancer Institute, the World Organisation for Animal Health or the Nobel Prize, with a link and the page’s own date. The short headlines on the labels are ours, and we keep them to what the quote says.

What this site is not

It is not medical advice and it sells no treatment, test or cure. It does not tell anyone to take or skip a vaccine or a medicine. For questions about your own health, ask your doctor, nurse or pharmacist.

Not affiliated with CDC, WHO, NIH, NCI, WOAH or the Nobel Foundation. Their words are quoted with a link to the page.

Who runs it

CuredDisease.com is run by WeldonPC (weldonpc.com), a computer services company in Ohio. It runs itself: no staff, no ads. No tracking scripts, no outside fonts or scripts: everything is served from this site.
